The scientific journal of Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, “Cheiron” has been renamed as the Tamilnadu Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. The journal strives to focus on technology development with coverage of key topic areas in veterinary, animal and fishery sciences.

This journal is published bi-monthly by Tamilnadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University, Chennai in February, April, June, August, October and December of every year.

Subscriptions are payable in advance and the subscription rates are inclusive of postal charges. The subscription charges may be paid in advance through demand draft drawn in favour of “The Director of Extension Education, TANUVAS, Chennai – 600 051” payable at Chennai.

Attention Contributors

The Editorial Board of Tamilnadu Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences has now decided to collect Rs. 50/- (Rupees fifty only) as processing fee from the authors at the time of submission of articles for publication in the Journal. This would help the authors to hasten the publication of their articles without any delay.
The contributing authors (from October 2006 onwards) should send Rs. 50/- as Cheque / Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Director of Extension Education, TANUVAS, Chennai - 600 051” along with the manuscript during submission.

The Editorial Board of Tamilnadu Journal of Veterinary and Animal Sciences invites review articles from eminent Research Scientists in the field of Veterinary and Fisheries Sciences, on the latest / current topics of interest for publication in the Journal.
